Although I don't have one, I've always admired tattoos. What I've never seen done and always intrigued by was the concept of little colored metal bars placed under the skin. Something akin to implants, but for no other reason except for personal adornment. Would have to be placed close to the surface
so the color could be seen. To make some designs some pieces of metal would have to be curved. To get rid of the tattoo, after it's worn off it's novelty, just take the metal strips out. Sure, you'll have a little scar, but not nearly as bad as what you might have with a regular tattoo.

Minus the coloration (just the curved metal pieces), this is baked. A good friend of mine has one in his leg. Now that piercings and tattoos are so common, the really hip had to move up to this, I guess. |
