Mer-Me! Taking flippers to a fun, functional and fashionable new extreme, these zip-up neoprene suits encase the legs from the pelvis to the ankles. To complete the look, simply dawn the matching fully joined flipper feet. Scallop-shell bras are available, and while recommended, are not included in the basic Mer-Me! package.

Myth and legend inspired, these suits maximize the power of the fly-stroke kick by enhancing the body’s aerodynamics. The most natural reservation about wearing both the tail and the flippers is of course – “wouldn’t that chafe?” And the answer would be, probably, but not with the personal-contour adapting gel each suit is lined with. Both the flippers and the tail are lined with a thin, soft, non-toxic gel membrane that adapts to the shape of each individual swimmer enhancing comfort.

Seasoned scuba divers love the efficient and graceful movement allowed by the Mer-Me! system. Ariel wannabes across South Florida demanded a more feminine and sexy option, so Mer-Me! created the Mer-Miss! line. Mer-Miss! features a provocative v-dip design below the navel and comes with imitation scales in a rainbow of sparkly colours. Resorts across the Caribbean have added the “dress the part” option to their Swim with the Dolphins experiences. Even catching the eye of the competitive swimming world, the tails are being used in exhibition meets for fun and entertainment. Dive in!

I love it when someone creates an account named after an animal. (hippo, DesertFox (kinda), fridge duck et al). Tend to be good.

I'd be more scared of sharks ... but then again maybe I could get away like a dolphin with one big swoop of my tail. ... or I guess I could always call my daddy Mr. Poseidon.

This idea is bananas. I love it!

At the moment, every time there is a shark attack the assumption is made that the shark 'mistook them for a seal'. I think this Mer-Me could be renamed Eat-Me.

I thought for a moment I smelled a farmer in the water.

Ahhh...yes...This is perfect! Just disguise myself as a fish then jump into the Ocean that is full of critters that eat fish. This should be renamed "Oceanic Suicide Disguise".

UnaBubba, if a lady ventured out in an Octopussoir model of this, she would instantly turn off her real-life flesh-and-blood Captain Hero

I don't see what the problem is. Most people would probably use this at the pool anyway. Besides, divers use monofins all the time, and dress in grey colors similar to certain fish to boot.

       Pretty well baked though.
