1.5 meter in length and made of smooth, light-weight fiberglass, this handsome pair of folding rods is sure to turn laundry days into longed-for interludes. To use, start by sliding the left rod under the fabric, beside the clothesline, or if using a dryer, pull the cloth over the rod temporarily mounted on the wall bracket. Continue by following the illustrated instructions below.

The easy-to-master technique will soon have you folding linen and clothes faster than Ed Scissorhands could say “Snip snip”. Show your Magic Fingers Folding Rods to your spouse or kids and they’ll never let you near the wash again.

Great idea, but I'm not using a five foot pole to fold a handkerchief.

       A used handkerchief?

Why no I don't fold my own laundry. I leave that to the staff.

       baked in another configuration. (link)

[FJ]'s idea, while more complex, has a zen quality lacking in the baked version. looks like you would derive martial arts benefits from 'mastering' the rods. (+)

and if some ninjas randomly jump out while your doing your laundry you have your weapons ready and waiting! +

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt that you didn't steal this from some pre-industrial society. (Gives FJ suspicious glare) It really seems like some busy washerwoman in ancient rome or somewhere would have folded togas with something like this.

[Ybb] in cases of ninjas, I use the FarmerJohn patented magic fingers folding gun, it's not great for laundry but so far I haven't had a ninja attack or a meter reader for that matter. +
