Instead of trying to sink the balls, you're trying to hatch them.

To minimize cruelty, this might have to be done in some kind of virtual reality.

It's an important part of the game that the chicks might imprint on ... something.

       As a video game this would be awesome.   

       Then you need to avoid the chicks running all over the place. [+]   

       And goes without saying you don't know which ones are chicks right? What about baby alligators that would chase the chicks around?   

       Could make some of the balls just explode as well.

       I like the idea of a game that features a strong imprintation mechanic, like dominoes (toppling), only drawn out over much longer timespans. If I cause the great-grandmother hen to drop into the top left pocket, could that cause all her descendants to follow along, resulting in a super-break based score?
