Clothing that is totally different on one side from the other -- to
enhance learning of left from right. I still have trouble with this and
sometimes totally blank out. It seems like I have to jump into a very
special headspace to be able to determine left from right. This
same thing happens
to me with stop lights sometimes especially from
far away, if I can't see whether the light is at the top or bottom, to
have to determine whether it is red or green requires something that
feels like preparing for a test in a class you are not doing well in.

I would not want to suggest for a moment that there
may be something seriously wrong with you, but

Sex rears it's ugly head. Ladies to the left. Gents to the right. or is the other way round ? look at pants racks to know for sure. |

I used to have trouble with left and right when I was contra dancing.
(Like square dancing or English country dances.) So I got a tennis
sweatband/wristband and put it on my left wrist. |

I suggest you get all hipster with a big wristwatch, and pick a side. |

|
Many of my shirts only have a pocket on my left. |
|
|
My trousers often have that little watch pocket only on the right, so I
keep my little Swiss Army knife in there. |
|
|
I carry my clip knife or an inkpen (depending on the job and day) on
my right hip pocket. |
|
|
I sometimes just thump, tap, or rest my hand on any of those,
thinking left or right as appropriate, just to remind myself. |
