Hmmm, it might be better to have a telehandler type
device for each hand so you could control both scoops
simultaneously. Digging and scooping seems more natural
with two hands than one so this design would be quicker
for new operators to learn. (the downside for having both
hands occupied is that it always makes my nose itchy) [+] |

An invertable telehandler arm (and, of course, the
telehandler control scheme) would definitely be the way to
go. It's difficult enough learning how to handle one
excavator scoop, and you need both hands to do it. |

^what [Ao] said though, unless you're prone to smacking the "elbow" joint on things, it doesn't need to be invertable, just straight mapping to shoulder, elbow, wrist. But I don't think it's a good idea safetywise [-] |
