Lake advertising

Corporate clouds

Create large lakes in the shape of corporate logos. When the sun shines on them (on a windless day) logo-shaped clouds will appear above them.
Note that it might be cheaper to change your company's logo to the shape of an existing lake.

Not very cloud-shaped, though. [Cedar Park, Oct 05 2004, last modified Oct 17 2004]

Because there isn't enough ambient advertising in the world already. Let's just tattoo logos on ourselves.

Is there anything in the world we won't do to the world for a short-term "branding moment"?

This one represents all of those valueless, pointless, soulless and frankly embarassing things that we do that lead to mindless destruction, for the sole reason that we can. It's baked.

Somebody would see the blessed virgin in the cloud and soon a crowd would gather. Well, don't p on my leg and tell me it's raining.

Instead of doing company logos with lakes and clouds, I recommend having the corporation build their corporate offices in memorable shapes. We see some of that already, but I think we're going to see some absolutely amazing stuff in the next 50 years.

Asahi Beer did that in Tokyo about 15 years ago. Their corporate headquarters is in the shape of a huge foaming glass of beer.

There is a really large field near Orlando, FL which has three very large circles of grass... kind of in the shape of a mouse... any guess who owns the property? :)

This would work good in Southern California. We need all the water storage we can get.....Now, if only that iceberg transportation thing can be baked.....
