Lab rats are interesting. Especially the ones with extraordinary attributes such as super-strength, transparent skin and auto-luminescence.
But unless we follow all the medical journals or watch the Discovery Channel 24 hours a day, we only hear about an occasional media-grabber like the one with
the prosthetic human ear implant on his back.
I would like to see a company produce high-quality trading cards
featuring these marvels of science, both work-a-day heroes and impact players alike.

I suppose that this way you would get a reasonable distribution of rare and common cards. However would such a card count as a publication for academic accreditation purposes? If so people could carry a pack of their own work as part of their CV and so they can play Ratémon with their peers. |

Did you know that living in cages is linked to Cancer in Laboratory Rats? Kind of skews every single test ever done, doesn't it? I've got an Algernon up for grabs in Near Mint Condition except for one corner on the card, which has chew marks. If anybody has Flowers, lets talk. |

Why stop at lab rats? I for one would be honored to have my own Henretta Lacks growing on the mantel. |
|
|
Is that a holographic Algernon, thumbwax? When lab rats take over the Earth, perhaps they will show the shivering remnants of humankind mercy if we all have these card collections. |
|
|
[thumbwax] I'd be happy to
trade you a Flowers for
Algernon. Anyone have a Mickey
for a Minnie? |

Out of idle curiosity, are the bulk of my annotations pearls before swine and/or was this one just really special? A bottle of 'Brand' beer from Holland will suffice. I have looked everywhere for this beer, which I used to get a case of monthly - and share - many many moons ago. |

No flowers my old waxy chum, but I've got all the members of the Rats of Nimh, and a mouse with an ear int he middle of it's back. I'm sure we can come to some arrangement... |
