Keep shooting the moon.

Keep firing, you a**holes!

I'm inspired by the fact that my country has fired a rocket into the moon, for whatever scientific purpose I find uninteresting.

Anyway, I propose we keep shooting the moon. With everything we have. I'm sure we can even figure out some kind of astronaut side arm. And not just Americans, either. Hell, if you want an altruistic purpose, think of the steps in nuclear disarmament we could make by turning the moon into a radioactive glowing glass ball!

Shooting the moon is (still) a good idea, but I think that all the different 'factions' (USA(?), Europe, Japan, China, India. Did I miss anyone?) should give up trying to race, and combine forces/budgets and actually get things done!

I was hoping this would have some relevance to the "Hearts" card game.

       What a waste of nukes.

I much prefer seeing the photographs that the astronauts *shoot* in space and send back here...

several of them do this via twitter.

You'll just disturb [8/7th]'s clan and start a new kind of war.

Naaah, we usually park round the dark side. It's quieter, the view is better, and there are some great 2 - for - 1 offers to be had in the shopping malls.

<nemesis>Typical [notmarkflynn], wasting ammunition on a lifeless orb when it could have been expended failing to stop his inevitable destruction. And as for his 'astronaut side-arms', my minions are already equipped to destroy him, wherever he may be.</nemesis>
