You know that safety seal under the cap on pill bottles
that is on everything? If it were cut or scored precisely
tailored for the contents you would get only one pill per
shake.
Instead of removing the entire seal a port would be left
that allows one item to fall out. Could be a pre-cut
opening
with a sticky seal. Could be scored to allow
punching out the right sized hole.
I now use a sharp knife to cut a triangular opening with
the
rim as the base, just the right size for the item, but if it
was a feature from the get-go lots of people could
benefit.
The vitamin guys should be interested.

The mod to the safety seal is almost free, does not
require the manufacture of anything new, and does
not use any new materials, processes, or training.
In this case free is better, unless you can monetize
a hole in the seal. Give it a try. |

Wish my standard issue levothyroxine med bottle had a similar

I use the flap-top plastic cap along with the hole I
custom-cut in the safety seal. I just find that
tailoring the size and shape of the hole to the pill
size works better than the flap top alone.
The plastic flap top and its opening are sized for
the bottle, not the pill, so the same size for big
capsules, tablets or tiny low-dose aspirin gives
varying results. |
