Jelly Bottom
The famous NZ ice cream but vertically inverted | |
This one's for Kiwis and those who come to enjoy their beautiful country and keep tripping over hobbits (like me). The local craze is a deceptively simple ice cream called 'jelly tip': "The mix of creamy vanilla ice cream, tipped with a raspberry flavoured jelly, and encased in a chocolate coating is
as popular today as it was 50 years ago, and has helped Jelly Tip to remain one of the top ten novelty ice creams." HOWEVER! Time to change things after over 50 years! See, when you think about it, it is not AT ALL logical to put the jelly at the TOP. First, it melts slower so it should be at the bottom to form a buffer against the melting ice cream. Second, and definitely most important: it the best part of the ice cream! As we all know, best parts should be left so they can be devoured last.
