Horrible buzzing pests driving you crazy? Give them a taste of their own medicine.
Using several microphones, the Ironic Bug Zapper tracks the mosquito around the room. When the mosquito's position is determined, the zapper uses a SASER to hit the bug with a narrow beam of coherent, high frequency
ultrasound. Ultrasound normally only repels insects, but with a little luck, the resonance within the bug's body whould make it explode.
Now it is you who'll be annoying them with high-pitched whining, annoying them to death.
And if you modulate the soundwave with a pre-recorded message, you could be zapping the bugs with the sound of you yelling "Take that! See how you like that, you horrible vermin! Die! DIe! Bwahahahahaaaa!", or whatever you deem appropriate.
The name "Poetic Justice Bug Zapper" comes to mind too.
