In order to display secret messages / status reporting for security reasons, i came up with the idea of an invisible billboard.

It simply comprises of a Infra red L.E.D matrix that are connected to a computer.

It can only be viewed with a ccd camera.

So if a company such as a bank or military base or casino etc. want to display discrete signals to a security camera in view, the signals can be picked up by people observing the video.

Drawback -itcan be that it can be seen by people with cellphones. So it should be only directional to the designated camera.

Um. The effort involved in setting up an addressible infrared billboard is surely much more than simply wiring a message feed to where the security camera ia monitored in the first place?

//it can be seen by people with cellphones// Erm, cellphone cameras, Shirley?

Explanatory experiment: Look at the infrared LED on your TV remote through a digital camera's LCD screen, and press a button on the remote. You can see the LED light up.

Making an advertising billboard like this might be a good publicity gimmick. Put something strange on it that can only be seen through a digital camera, and see what happens.
