According to a well-known and unreliable source ([xenzag]),
354c is the shade of green used in chroma-key image
processing.
Typically, chroma-key is used to eliminate the background
(which is green) and replace it with a particular scene, so
that
the person (who is not green) appears to
be in said
particular
scene.
However, the Inverse 354c Chroma-key Suit achieves the
exact
opposite. It consists of a whole-body suit (sufficiently
porous
to allow limited vision and limited respiration) made of
354c-
green-coloured Spandex. The Spandex is interwoven with
354c-green-emitting electroluminescent wire, which is
controlled in such a way as to eliminate shadows caused by
the
curviness of the body.
Anyone wearing this suit can be made to disappear, their
outline being precisely replaced with any chosen image. As
a
resulting consequence, you can create the impression of
having part of New York walk across the Great Barrier Reef
or,
indeed, vice versa.
A particularly unsettling effect can be obtained by replacing
the image of the person with an actual image of the person,
but not moving quite in sync.

No one can now see the two posts as they cancel
each other out! Ha |

Typical. Once again, I go and invent something and then,
next thing you know, some cunt has pre-dated me. |

You haven't lost the personal cloaking device we gave you for your birthday, have you ? |
|
|
It's not exactly lost. It's just that I left it switched on when I
put it down, somewhere... |
|
|
Having just watched yet another weather forecast where the
presenter obscured much of the picture, you have to wonder
why they don't wear green leotards, appearing only as a head
and a pair of hands. |
|
|
Because a technical failure might show you an HD image of John Ketley in a green leotard. The horror, the horror ... |
|
|
If I might suggest a small modification - make it a proper
three piece suit. |

|
I'm with the borg on lycra suits, about 1% of the population
would look good in one. |

|
Nah. We've heard she's a 7 1/2 these days. |
