There are few things more disgusting than flies and other insects hanging around your grill. They'll alight on brushes, spatulas, forks or anything else that's been in contact with food.
While I'm not convinced they work, many people like ultrasonic insect repellers. Ultrasonic repellers are supposed
to work in a manner that doesn't require the use of chemicals and doesn't kill beneficial insects. These repellers are even available for key chains.
I say put 'em to good use in the handles of outdoor cooking utensils. Little battery-operated repellers to keep the bugs away. And when you're done cooking, you can array the utensils around the eating area so you can enjoy your meal in peace.

any idea what this ultra sound actually *sounds* like to a bug? does it hurt its little ears or does it hear "go away if you have any sense at all" |

How 'bout a bug zapper spatula?
Ok, your idea is better. + |

I need to slow down and read more carefully. I was so excited when I thought I saw "Insect Grilling Utensils." |
