For those of you who buy ready-made furniture, it can be difficult sometimes to imagine the effect of the proposed new item in your house.
Some companies offer a virtual service whereby you can scan or somehow model your rooms, and inspect the new pieces in situ by looking at miniature goggle screens.
Other
companies may offer to deliver the pieces, for you to try, and offer the option to return them if they don't suit.
But no more! Our inflatable furniture samples allow you to try multiple sizes and colours in a single returnable package.
Inflate each sample in turn, and then position and re-position it in every possible position in each of your rooms.
When you have finished experimenting, deflate the samples and return them in the original packaging, and confidently place your order.

We have a criticism straight away; this idea is not in fact halfbaked in any way, it's actually really good and could be commercialized as a USP for a furniture vendor. Standard base units, some cardboard cutouts, and a selection of fabric covers would permit prospective purchasers to see the goods in situ. |

Related to this idea, IKEA have an 'augmented reality' app which allows you to point your phone camera around your room and see from all angles what a chosen piece of IKEA furniture will look like in your room. It's very clever. |
