It's an enlongated soft rubber torus with face shapes
molded
into it.
You could also do the reverse, push the face into the mouth
of the face behind it, then that face into the one behind it
and so on.
I'll look for a video
that clarifies the idea.

The closest I can think of would be an origami ring that you can turn, toroidally, in a similar way. Try Googling "flexagon". |
