Imagine this. You're a waiter at a restraunt. Your customers order something, and the cook tells you that that item is out. When you go back to tell your table, instead of just saying "I'm sorry ma'am, we're out of ____," sing it! Burst into song!
This whole idea could also be made infinitely
better if a few people worked together on it without telling everyone else. Imagine if you're a school and two or three people just start singing a musical number about whatever is currently happening. It would be absurd and surreal.
Your own dancers

Supermarket - The Musical

This was halfbaked in 2001 as an episode of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" titled "Once More, With Feeling". |

How about applying "flash mob" techniques to gather folks to do this sort of thing? Might be interesting. |

Baked every three weeks here. |

Er... isn't this redundant? I seem to remember something like "Personal Dancers" that would follow you around for this very reason. |

[Added] Oh wait - they were for a slightly different reason. But it does sound very familiar... |
|

I would love to dine at a resteraunt where the wait staff
sings the menu! |

Just don't go to the Opera restaurant if you're really hungry. It'll take them a fortnight to finish asking you what you would like as an aperitif. |

Ok, I like it, BUT-- it's been used in about 10,000 commercials. |
|
|
But I would totally do this with my friends. Awesome. |
