Bags of beach sand, sterilized then deliberately infused with a wide range of dead bacteria and viruses, and some live ones, to build up a child's immune system the fun way. The containers are variously marked corresponding to recommended age range for the variety of contents/ratios.

       ^ more like planned immunization: the variety and ratio changes with the different formulae'd buckets. I don't think cat and doggy doo doo would be likely to contain measles or polio either.

       Same. When my brother and I were growing up the rules were; be home for supper, and then be home before the street lights go out.
There was nothing to do but explore so we knew every storm-drain, every roof top, every homeless camp, culvert ... everything, in whatever town we were living in. Ooh la merde...
While neither of us would ever have been nominated as candidates for mental health poster-children, we both ended up with pretty kick-ass immune systems.
