We call this invention: The Simpsons. |

(Apologies to the Scarecrow) |

O, we'd be Holidaying
Once a week or daily
When this new trend starts,
And our calendars would creak
With icons from our physique,
Those Idealized Body Parts |
|
|
We could have a Brainy Think Day,
To remember what the wise say,
Folks like Plato and Descartes,
And a day for the uvula
Might be the thing to move you-la
With Idealized Body Parts |
|
|
It would be great to commemorate
The hallux or the 'nads
Celebrating parts we didn't know we had
With this ideal organ fad |
|
|
Your sternum and your coccyx
Might be among the top picks
On festive anatomy charts
But I bet the biggest talkers
Would be greeting card hawkers
For Idealized Body Parts |
|
|
Why th-thats beautiful... |

I dunno. I'm sure I've seen a "surgeon" game for kids that involved removing idealized body parts from the "patient." |
|
|
It's called "Operation", I played it recently. It's been around since the seventies and still sells because the kids love pretending to pull organs out of people. It's a very Halfbakery idea really - file under 'board games'. |
