Ice Table

A quarter-inch thick aluminum surface, seamlessly sporting a two inch lip 'round the rim to hide view of the heat pipes bolted on underneath.

Plug it in and immediately the warmth is sucked from the conductive tabletop. Within minutes the surface frosts up, indicating a good place to keep a beer not only cool, but cold. There will also be a weak but constant flow of cool air cascading over the side.

For big parties, plan ahead : the night before, flip the tabletop over, fill with water and turn it on for the almost two inches of solid ice surface in the morning that will last the whole day.
