Basically a set that comes with a board and an ice-cube tray that makes chesspieces. Comes with a dye for making black pieces. Or you can use juice to make different colors.

Or use them as Jell-O molds, have a hell of a time moving pieces, and literally "eat" a killed piece.

       //Jello shot chess//

       Cool! That would give an interesting twist to the game, as the player who's in the lead (that is, the player who's eaten more jello shots) will be drunker, therefore eventually in disadvantage.

       Cola and Ginger Ale ice cubes. I think it should probably be a timed game.

       I like the jelly version very much. jelly baby chess, now there's a thought...

       Winner eats all...

       Could we have them in chocolate? (All because the lady loves....chess) The kings could have truffle centres, as an extra incentive.

       Boy, you'd have a heckuvatime gettting the rooks out of the tray in one piece. Excellent idea, though. [+]

       I'd like to see a chess tournament where alternating games are played with "Ice Chess" and "Candle Chess." (See upper right). (WTAGIPBAN)

       + for you. I like the idea that it limits game time (at least, under normal room temperatures). No more long, dull, dragged out games! Hurry up and win, or melt!

       This could even add a new dynamic to the game: Now you can only use a particular piece so many times before the warmth from your hand melts it. When it's beyond recognition, it's considered captured! And best of all, no more of that aggravating "I'll keep my finger on it for half an hour until I'm absolutely sure this is the move I want to make!"

       //try speed chess...// hey the double slash thing, I like that. Anyhow, most friendly games played at home or at a friend's house don't involve busting out a timer. I realize that serious players might do this, but nobody else in the chess playing world does so (which includes everybody who doesn't own a chess timer). Hell, I play chess and I'm not even sure what the those things are called.
