IP addressable sextoys

Erotic encounters aided by the net

Take a vibrator, fr'ex, and wire it up so it is controllable through the net. Great add-on device for you IM or IRC fans. Indispensible for folks with long-distance loves.

Bonus points:

Make it wireless.

Include a "penis casting kit" so you can make a "sleeve" of your (or your lover's) cock.

Drawbacks:

Security, especially denial of service attacks.

Frequent need by users to remount the device.

Teledildonics, the site http://www.teledildonics.com/
A passable explanation of what someone might be getting into with this idea. [Aristotle, May 03 2001, last modified Oct 04 2004]

Fu-Fme http://www.fu-fme.com
Pretty much what it sounds like, a <joke> system that fills a 5.25" drive bay... [StarChaser, May 03 2001, last modified Oct 04 2004]

Biotelemetric Mannequins http://www.halfbake...metric_20Mannequins
Yes, Peter, someone did suggest this before. [egnor, May 03 2001, last modified Oct 04 2004]

I saw somewhere (Graham Norton I think) that internet operated vibrators already exist and are available to buy. So are kits for men to make casts of there willies for their girlfriends vibrators. (That was on Eurotrash). So this is simply sticking the two together. I think baked.

The term you are looking for is teledildonics (see link), however the IP address is a pretty bizarre extension I have to admit. Well done.

I noticed the mannequin idea before I wrote this up. I guess what amuses me about the idea of a sextoy with an IP address is that it seems to be something that is very do-able right now. No funky new technologies required. And I know _way_ too many people who would groove on the engineering aspect as much (or moreso) than the sexual component of it all.

I'm surprised that this idea hasn't manifested more, um, publically.
rmjwell, May 03 2001

... yeah, the sex toy could be not only IP-addressable, but it could include a tiny web server with dynamic content and cgi-scripts ...

Of course, for real geek attractiveness, it would be an IPv6 address, or something similarly exotic.

I can just see the attached counter:

"this pussy has been visited *counter zapped*"

Baked or not, could be fun. Instead of strap ons we get add ons. Instead of erections we get extensions. Uploading, Downloading, Floppies and Zips..... .....Hey, I'm getting kinda horny here!

       Another security issue: backdoors.

       Don't forget about trojan programs...

And would I be able to access these from my Palm (Pilot)?
