Bungston had suggested chimp vs man baseball which
might
be
problematic but I loved the general idea which is to have
some
sport specifically designed to be evenly matched for very
strong
animals that can swing from trees going against weaker
animals
that are a lot smarter.
Maybe
some kind of obstacle course? Contact sports are
out.
Wonder how chimps would do playing soccer hitting the
ball
with their hands? (football) They can work out
trajectories
pretty well with the swinging from branches thing.
Maybe if
you trained them from birth? Both humans and apes can
throw things.
Of course maybe I'm overestimating them. They might
just
reach into the back of their uniforms, pull out a handful
of
feces and throw it at the opposing team.
The chimps might even be worse. <--- (funny time humor

Something completely out of left field: side-walk checkers, with really heavy playing pieces. Do it as a speed game. Heavy pieces dis-advantage the human, but complexities of play dis-advantage ape. |
