Nothing like trying to move one of those big family size fidge-freezers to do your back in! The Hover fridge (TM) looks like your regular fridge but has a rubberised skirt around the bottom coupled with a powerful fan. At the flick of a switch it rises a few centimeters off the floor, and your once imovable kitchen appliance can be shifted with the touch of a finger. Once you have your fridge where you want it simply turn the fan off and it setles softly back to the floor again. Great as you can now easily move it to clean underneath, or recover that small item you lost under it.

Not a part of a refrigerator but a technique that has been around a while. [bristolz, Oct 04 2004]

I think we've done this before. Some of them with rubber skirts, some with tank treads, some like the Segway ...

Surely it will now already be clean underneath?

I don't want to look under my fridge, things look back.
