Fans powered by a backpack battery fill your pantlegs with air. Possibly with enough air passing through, and bellbottom pants (or suchlike) one might possibly be able to hover over the ground. Of course, that means a lot of air, but mount the fan on your back instead of a battery and plug it into a high-voltage outlet and see what happens. The pants would have to be non-aeropermeable for the hoverpants to work, but the air would keep you cool.

Or maybe a jetpack style affair blowing down the back. Cool exhaust would be needed, or armored underwear.

I can just imagine what FJ's drawing of this would look like. Some jetpack strapped to a guy's back with the air blowing down his back.

I mean reaaaaaalllyyyyy big pant legs, at least 3 feet wide each, to provide good stability.
DesertFox, Mar 01 2005

       That would avoid the head-dumping.

Can you flip a switch to go from hover to Hoover?

Is it possible to co-author an idea? Maybe both have names up there?

Posting an idea about that now.

MCHammer could use these to resurrect his career.

I think a skirt would be more appropriate.

       Blow pants?

Naturally, [Bristolz]. I was gonna post the very same thing. Placed right next to SuckPants, of course.

Edit: I imagine you'd get an extremely high number of teenage boys as customers for this product.
