I am informed by my significant otter that when suffering
from a headache that a hot head can offer some form of
relief.
Neither a regular hot water bottle, nor the floppy, wheat-
filled, microwaveable things provide sufficient head
coverage
or heat retention in my opinion.
I propose a
large, hemispherical, hot water bottle. This
should prove sufficient to cover the entire top half of the
head from the forehead to the nape of the neck, to provide
maximum soothing power.
Given the larger surface area will probably cause it to cool
quicker, an insulating layer will be fitted to the 'topside' of
the hat underneath the covering.
That covering will be available with a stylish range of
knitted
and faux fur coverings. Filler cap is cunningly concealed
beneath the bobble.
(My apologies for the mangled French summary, but I like
the
rhythm of it)

Wet_20T-Shirt_20Enhancement An equivalent to a hot water bottle hat was described in this Idea. Admittedly, it had a very different purpose.... [Vernon, Sep 21 2015]

I'll have the 'Afro' covering please |
|
|
Why would you put hot water in your bottle hat ? |
|
|
Hey [kaz], very long time no see. How you doing? About the
idea. I once posted something similar but mine was a helmet
for hot soup that you could wear and then eat lunch at your
cubicle desk. It wasn't a very good idea. This, however, is.
Yay. + |

Hello [bliss], don't know what you're talking about, it
isn't like its been five years. Oh wait. I was
wondering if anyone would have any prior art, I
thought my searching had been extensive, but
evidently not. I do tend to eat a lot of soup at work
in the winter though |
|
|
You won't find mine. It went Phhoof, when I deleted myself a
long time ago. Or so. Still good to see you! |
|
|
If you put the hat in the freezer, it will keep your head cold on a hot day. |
|
|
May I suggest that your water-heated-helmet, or whelmet be segmented and or baffled so as to prevent sloshing. (+) |
|
|
No problem. Mangle away - I insist. |
|
|
[2 fries] I hadn't thought about sloshing. Surely it
might sound like waves on the sea though. Everyone
loves the sound of waves. |
|
|
True. Very soothing. Sorry to hear about your partners headaches. |
