Expensive, difficult, slightly dangerous, not particularly effective... I'm on a roll.

This thing has so many uses, I don't really know where to begin.

Ceramic treads carry the coals from the propane heating chamber to the user's feet. A smaller treadmill ferries the coals back to the heating chamber. A rotating ceramic scoop lifts up the coals heats them in the propane fire and dumps them onto the treadmill.

Great for office gatherings, family reunions, graduations, bar mitzvahs and home use.

Comes with chain attachment in case you need to be dragged.

Some minor assembly required.

Yes, Bristolz your picture and Half's idea inspired me. [sartep, Oct 04 2004, last modified Oct 05 2004]

Can't you just take the top off one of these babies? http://www.hatcocor...nveyor-toaster-1002
(i.e., the coals stay in place while the belt moves over them.) [DrCurry, Oct 04 2004, last modified Oct 05 2004]

(?) walking on hot coals http://www.jimloy.com/pseudo/coals.htm
One way is easier to design, the other way is easier on the feet. [sartep, Oct 04 2004, last modified Oct 05 2004]

       Excellent, sartep.

I like [Curry]'s improvement. Except for the "grill" lines on the soles of the feet, I think it solves several problems quite nicely. A lightly toasted heel of bread for the whole idea, [sartep]. +

+ This is for those who want to practice fire-walking at home.

Walking on actual hot coals hurts less. See link.

But yes it is easier to make that device work.
