Swimming pools are most often associated with relaxation and fun.
But, after waking up from a terrifying dream last night, I wish to make a horrible swimming pool, vaguely based on Hitchcock's movie The Birds.
The pool is circular, a rather narrow but very deep tube.
The pool is lit at the bottom.
You
would only swim in it at night.
At the bottom of the tube-pool, there is a series of locks that can be opened. In the locks, a quantity of small, plastic, black birds is stored.
You would swim in the lit pool at night, and with the push of a button, the locks would open, and the plastic birds would swirl up towards the surface.
This is the Horrible Hitchcock Pool. The birdies will get you, somehow.

+ bun because I loved that movie, (and the idea)though the birds mightn't seem so scary in the water... |

Maybe they could be penguins. |

Make the birds out of helium-filled balloons. After they came to the surface they would continue to fly away. |
