Did it get bunned or boned? |
How's your hang time after burn testing it? |

// If this idea seems kinda familiar I posted it about 3 years ago and it was erased in the big crash // |

If it doesn't seem familiar, does that mean you didn't post it before? |
Maybe that was during one of those times you deleted your account? |

I don't remember if it got the tasty croissant or not. I never deleted my account, just went on a hiatus. It seems that about half of my ideas were deleted. This is the only one I remember. |

Refereeing would be tricky. Perhaps
some ingenious sensor system could be
built into the ball, such that it beeped if
it were touched by a player who was
still in contact with the ground (and
hence earthed - given suitably
conductive shoes). |
Ooh, yeah, I like that. Is that plausible? The out of bounds zone would be free of the sensors and the area behind the foul line could be turned off when a player is shooting free throws. |

This is interesting, but I need a better sense of how the game actually goes. It would seem there's not much passing - or is there? Can you post official rules? |
I think you should change the name. Honky ball made me think this was a game only for white people, and everyone knows, "White men can't jump". |
So, can you dribble too? A long as your off the ground when you touch, right. |
Sensors, sensors, everywhere. |
moonball. or a very springy playing surface. |

X...There would be a heck of a lot of passing actually. As soon as you caught the ball midair you'd pretty much have to pass it right away unless you'd have the coordination to dribble it as daseva was asking. As for official rules, it'd be pretty much the same as regular basketball except you can't touch the ground and the ball at the same time (except for inbounding the ball and free throws). I was also kicking around the idea of having the player "foul out" for ground infractions also, but I'm not sure how many yet? Any ideas? |
