Gone is the need to find the perfect beach, the perfect wave, the perfect wind condition.

With Home Surf, the wind surfing equipment attachment for the endless pool in your basement, you can experience the exhilaration without the fear of a sudden gust of wind carrying you out to the ocean, or of a great white taking a nibble on those toes. And for that matter, without the disgusting taste of salt water on your lips.

We would use a Robot Arm -- of the type used for simulators -- to be able to shift the wind surfer this way and that to offer a realistic experience.

       My guess is it would be a giant robot arm that is controlling a a windsurf like device. Fans would be nice.

       Artificial waves (aka surfing pools) are baked. Some of them aren't much bigger than a water treadmill. I'm pretty sure there are even portable versions. I'm not even going to include a link to prove my point; just go to a water fun park sometime, or check out the rear deck of a cruise ship.   

       If this idea is simply to install already-existing technology in a place where it is not normally found (ie: a private residence), then the likelihood is that it, too, is completely baked. People with disposable income put all kinds of wierd shit in thier homes.

       Yes, it's true that WAVE pools are baked, but he is saying Wind Surfing, not wave surfing...So that is why I asked some questions. Idea needs more info...
