Whilst trying to ascertain the viscosity of the average
halfbakery page, in particular the effect on capital
letters in the "seconds of charging page" post I seem to
have discovered evidence that supports the hollow
halfbakery theory.
If we look at the original post "J R I B E Y I S" was typed
in, but 6 hours later it "I Y I S" is at the bottom of the
page.
The obvious conclusion is that some capital letters are of
a shape that penetrates viscosity better, for example
the capital B is relatively wide in respect to its height,
and so more prone to swept away by the telluric
currents.
But, where did J, R, B and E go? I suspect they were
taken by the current and swept into the hollow centre of
the halfbakery...
Reassembling the original MS of R. Soul Saknussemm,
which was partially obliterated in the HB scrivener crash
of 1680, when he knocked a bottle of ink all over the
parchment...I set forth, or possible fifth..to Iceland, but
they were closed as it was after 4pm on a Sunday.
Luckily a Tesco Local was still open and........

I think you'll find all of the letters are at the bottom of the page. |

<MS discovered on ZX81 tape drive, near a undersea thermal vent>
....then the mystery deepens, where were the J, R, B and E for those 11 days, if not in the HB underworld...glub glub glub.... |

++ if Frank Frazetta illustrates. |

Hmm, I've discovered a flaw in my theory. |

How can I know that the J, R, B and E which rcarty kindly located were the same J, R, B and E that I had typed in earlier? They are quite common characters in HB posts. |

So, I have placed an Ô on the test site, and will return to check its progress in a few days... |

//Ô// Should be interesting - it'll either stay there or take another letter with it. |

My god, one of the b's has already been swept away... |

Perhaps it is hiding directly behind its downstream
brother. |
