That's about it, i propose there should be more people with the image of Hervé Villechaize tattooed upon their bodies.

Maybe somebody could get one on their belly, so the belly button is like Hervé's mouth, and they move their stomach muscles to make the belly button twitch all the while yelling "boss! the plane! the plane!" (don't do this if you have an outie BB)

Maybe people can get just his head, shoulders, and hands poking out of the top of their pubic region, as if Tattoo was peeking out at you from a bush.

If the permanent body modification doesn't fly yet, we will at least we need to distribute some of those temporary tattoos with Hervé's likeness to start the buzz.

Courtesy of [hippo]'s link, I now know that he's a dead actor who was in 20 films that I haven't seen and 7 TV shows that I haven't seen. I assume that if I *had* seen these, I would have some clue as to what this is about. I'm guessing it must be something beyond simple idolatry. (Slightly later, I see now that his character was called "Tattoo"; is that it?)
Theoretical fishy for promoting body mutilation, withheld because of last para.

uhhhh...angel, did you check out the name of this category? It's "Fashion: Body Modification". If body mods offend you, why read this category?
cameron, Mar 12 2003

Well, my default view doesn't show the category. (Yes, I know that it *could* if I wanted it to.) Body mods don't offend me, I just don't favour them.
(PS. I meant to leave this :-) for you.)

If you have him playing the snare drum, you can have a Tattoo tattoo tattoo.
waugsqueke, Mar 12 2003

Yes, but then we'd start talking about bagpipes, whisk(e)y and Hitler.
angel, Mar 12 2003

Will you offer a tattoo of Richardo Montalban, too? :-) "Smiles, ayv'ryone. Smiiiiiiles!"
Amos Kito, Mar 12 2003

And if you were a Star Wars fan, and got one on each arm, you could have two Tattoo tattoo on Tatooine tattoos, too. (okay I'll stop.)

[waugs], don't forget the ballet afficionados.

Dang, now I want to go get a tattoo of 'the plane! the plane!'
RayfordSteele, Mar 12 2003

i finally understand the russian lesbian pop music comment.

yeah, I once met someone with a Tattoo tattoo. This guy was the lead guitarist for the "Look People", a Canadian Lollapalooza side-stage act that had a few minor hits in the early 1990s. He has a big portrait of Hervé Villechaise on his bicep.
