Helium Parking Device

Lighter Than Air Parking device for car

Some heavy part of the car (motor and front?) to be left on ground (and can be moved with wheels) while rest of car is floated up under a large helium balloon. Legs extend under floating parts, and are fastened for safety.

When done, move out to area with room on roadside, lower floating parts, reconnect, and compress gas back into storage.

Allows you to park in between two parking cars.

That's a lot of helium. That's a big storage tank to lug around.

Works great until some asshole cuts your tether to get themselves a parking space.

I think I'll bone it too. Doesn't look funny anymore.

Or drive a Mini; then you can drive the heavy end (with the engine in) head-first into the parking space, stop, get out and lift the light end in (with maybe a little help from your friends).

[pertinax], I like that. A rocker structure would make a very good front bumper. Post your idea, please.
