For those inaccessible areas where printing may be needed.

A printer, powered from the power takeoff of a large truck, using diesel particulates as toner and exhaust heat to power the fuser unit.

For coloured inks just scrape some of the dust off the wheelrims, or chlorophyll from leaves and dry it. Cyanoanthins will give you blue, ochres red and yellow.

Print billboards, signs and information booklets wherever your vehicle can reach.

Ha - Combat Printer. For those times when you absolutely, positively have to print a document for every m*ther-f*cker in the room.

You're onto it [zt]. 16 tons, 450 rated horsepower, 5 miles to the gallon.

You'd be surprised how close that is to the truth, [blissy]. The inspiration for this one is a real world idea I dreamed up a while ago.

Instead of paper, it has a woodchipper for input.

Perhaps, [Rayf], it could print on chipboard that it makes as it goes. A mulcher, dryer, bleaching and hydraulic press process could make it possible.

I've lost it, but I once saw a military field printer on eBay. It was big, green, and hardened against EMP.

Not sure why you'd be selling such a thing on eBay, unless you'd stolen it.

The printer i flung into the pantry in a fit of pique when i realised Epson was lying about how long their cartridges lasted worked fine afterwards according to the people i gave it away to. Maybe that was ruggedised.

       Anyway, [+].

The problem is that you paid money for an Epson printer.
