If Frodo is going to stay in real Earth where electricity works, he is going to need Headphones for Hobbits. These headphones have pointy egg shaped earcups to accommodate pointy Hobbit ears.

I think the shape of the ears is the same for Elves as well.

       We wanted to post "Vulcan Headphones", i.e. headphones with oversize, shaped cups, for humanoids with pointy ears, but this idea neatly preempts it.
