Imagine if you will, a hang-glider. Now take away the boring wing, and replace it with the purpose built, aero-dynamic hand-wing.

Essentially it is the wing of a hang-glider in the shape of a hand. The wrist portion faces forward with the fingers to the rear. Fixed to the underside of the wing are carbon fibre rods that control the up and down movements of the fingers, thus providing steering.

Why not just create a hang-glider wing with the above wing control? I hear you ask; Where is the fun in that?

I'm sure Dick Dastardly would like one, to catch "the pigeon".

Nyuk nyuk nyuk. Slap, slap, poke.

Vin Diesel would look cool on one of these.

Ok, enough with the Vin Diesel references. <grin>

[silvertormer], from just the title, I had pictured an adult- toy version of a back scratcher or something akin to it but now I see your idea is grand. Is this glider passenger size or a scale model? +

I thought this would be a support for when you have your hand hanging out the window of your car as it goes down the highway...

[Tiger Lily] glider is passenger sized. Scale models might be built for the younger hand-glider enthusiasts.

In that case I'd love to have one of each!. I'll use the scale model to pass the time when stuck in traffic.
