Forget the drudgery of pushing the lazy susan, loaded with food around to choose an item at the table, the Extra-Lazy Susan is hamster powered!
Hammy the hamster is comfortably housed in a hamster wheel. Connected to the hamster wheel is a sprocket and drive shaft which runs under the lazy susan
to a reduction gear which turns the turntable.
When Hammy feels like it, he runs, thereby turning the lazy susan and all the food on it. Don't like the Chow Mein? Don't worry, the Sweet&Sour Pork is coming right around! Maybe Hammy will stop at an intriguing menu item you haven't tried yet...
This item could also be used in a museum to display small sculptures so that you can get a 360 degree view without having to walk all the way around the object.

- "Is that the Szechuan Black Beans?" - "No - it's Hamster crap" Lovely idea. |

//When Hammy feels like it//? lazy little sod, get the whip out. |
|
|
- "Hey, why isn't the extra-lazy susan moving?" - "We ran out of Sweet&Sour Pork." |
|
|
yes, I defend my opinion. a gentle whipping to get them to do something they enjoy is much different to whooshing them to and fro at 100 mph down dark nasty little tubes. |
|
|
What's with the gentle encouragement? A capacitor, charged during operation, can release a shock after say 1 minute of inactivity....that should keep the little rat faced furball going. |

I like it better when the hamster wheels me around in a rolling barcalounger. |

Not that I regard Susen as the least bit lazy, but this idea keeps giving me visions of her driving across Tennessee, drawn by a huge team of hamsters. |

In New York we call them Hamster Taxis |

That must be in the East Village. |

The little bastich's will probably revolt, go on strike and force you to eat nothing but condensed cream of celery soup. The only thing worse than a hamster is a teamster hamster. Guinea Hoffa, who knew? |
