Same as a hotdog, but no intestinal casing, and flat. Easy to apply toppings and cheese to, same hotdog taste we all love unless we don't eat meat.

       [marked-for-deletion] recipe.

I always thought baloney was the same thing as hot dog, in a flat form.
dentworth, Dec 20 2005

I like bologna more than hotdogs, though, so I don't think it's the same meat. Or maybe it's psychological?
notmarkflynn, Dec 20 2005

Doesn't look like a recipe to me. Looks like a new shape of food. I don't think it would hang together, though which is why hotdogs have skin in the first place.

if only this was an idea for making a poodle out of ham
xenzag, Dec 20 2005

I would disagree [st3f]. To me this reads simply as a hamburger using indeterminate hotdog meat instead of beef.
hidden truths, Dec 20 2005

Yeah, I was thinking about the casing problem after I posted it. I guess if you changed the consistency of which pig parts you put into it, it would behave like chuck beef.
notmarkflynn, Dec 20 2005

yes i agree this isn't a recipe. its a food shape as St3f said.

I don't get [m-f-d]. Do I have to delete all these myself, or does someone esle do it? 'Cause this thing's been marked for a month now.
notmarkflynn, Jan 20 2006

it stands for 'marked for death'. hide under a table immediately.

It exists to help the moderators find unsuitable ideas and delete them. Seeing as this has lasted a while it would appear that they have decided the tag undeserved. Generally speaking, if you think a tag is warranted, then you may as well delete the idea. If not, keep it and see whether the moderators spare it.

Yeah, I disagree with the MFD. The idea stands.
bristolz, Feb 01 2006

Definitely an idea, not a recipe. Whether it's a good idea or not is up to you. Personally, I'd prefer a hamburger in hotdog form. Toasted potato bun and spicy mustard please.
Pac-man, Feb 01 2006

No sooner did I write that, then there it goes, up at the top- hotdog shaped hamburgers.
