A showhome built to halfbakers specifications.

The pinicle of halfbaking ideas infused into a modern environment, where technology meets insanity.

All the best halfbakery ideas could be included, with Knife Light Switches [Rods Tiger] controlling the LCD Room Lighting [hippo]. Self-Stirring Stovetops [Wes] in the kitchen area along with the "No Suck" Wastebasket [X2Entendre]. The sitting area would incorporate Pedalstools [skinflaps], all arranged using the mystical art of Anarchy Feng Shui [stupop]. The bathroom would incorporate the Schrodinger's Toilet Seat [hippo], the Psycho Shower Curtain [annautgoff], the Waterfall Shower [FakeGreenDress] and a Water Powered Radio [bryons].

The central attraction would be a state of the art baking PC, complete with a Stress Ball Mouse [friendlyfire], Temperature Controlled Keyboard [dan] and Punchable Monitor [lostdog], connected to the halfbakery.

Obviously there are many other great ideas to be included, to be decided by the home designers.

Such an attraction could be built in a place like EPCOT centre in florida.

Funds to pay for the building of the home could be raised from donations from large American corporations with more money than sense (Halliburton spring to mind, and Disney would contribute also).

Ideally the building would be completed without the involvement of businesses, and remained a non profit venture, however, realistically some corporate sponsorship would be necessary (unless there is an eccentric millionaire halfbaker who wants to fund it).

I do have to give you credit for expending the effort to compile those links, let alone put the package together. To me, however, there *is* one shortcoming - This is an alternate universe we're constructing. But, you've obviously taken the 'bakery to heart after perilously dancing your way over the coals, so flaky bun for you.
thumbwax, May 26 2003

I understand that there are some ideas that could not be implemented, however a taste of how the universe could look could be achieved using some ideas that are closer to reality.

It is good to see croissants can be awarded for effort. I will try harder in future.

Way to list your favorites! Have a fishbone.
ato_de, May 26 2003

I kiss no ass, i just liked the ideas.

Are you upset because i didn't include any of yours? I'd put in the no sweat pillow, but i ran out of time and space.
MikeOliver, May 26 2003

No biggie, Mike. Do your thing, just not sure we need a list of personal favorites from everyone. I'll withdraw the butt kissing comment post haste.
ato_de, May 26 2003

damn it I missed that, toady.

[Mike] please put this is an HB category, ta.

More links... you need more links. That's not enough.

One thing you've neglected to mention, Mike, is the reason for doing this. You call it an 'attraction' - who would it attract, and why?
waugsqueke, May 26 2003

<single tear trickles down FF's cheek>You like my mouse - you really like my mouse!
friendlyfire, May 26 2003

       I'd go visit it...

I am working on a category for it... Not sure a suitable one exists though. (It was in the halfbakery category, i must have slipped my mouse).

I'm all linked out... Feel free to post your own faves.

//<single tear trickles down FF's cheek>You like my mouse - you really like my mouse!// - I never said i liked your mouse, just that it was quite popular... Actually, i do like your mouse :-)

(blatant plug) Would have to have coffee coloured mugs! and then you get a croissant.
PiledHigherandDeeper, May 26 2003

Hah! Methinks someone is worried about losing clients from his Hyperbaric Hotel.
egbert, May 27 2003

I feel an, ode to elevator farts, limerick coming.

Coffe Coloured mugs would be a must in any attraction... How foolish of me to leave them out.

Una, people would visit, and learn of the bakery's magic... If you build it, they will come...

Blatent plugs are permitted, nay, encouraged... (i might put in a few of my own).
MikeOliver, May 27 2003

this looks like a good place to put my croissofa.
