The HBIRT is inspired by bhumphrys recent resurrection of some great old artwork. I think this is a great service because much of this art is really pretty precious.

Thank you BH.

Thanks [Doc] I do so agree. Follow the link to where I found a small treasure trove.

It made me chortle when I looked at the URL- can you see why?

       Whoa! That's amazing!

       Missing the funny thing though.

Well, "Bristols" for in the UK is cockney rhyming slang, inspired by the name of a middling-rank soccer club

'What a nice pair of Bristol Citys'! Would have been a traditional cry of appreciation, in the old days.

Note: to post the link to one of these images in a halfbakery post, I found by error and error that you have to copy and paste the browser URL for the image, or it doesn't work.

That link Is cool, but there have been many more artistic contributions to this site lost over the years.

What I just posted could be read incorrectly.

       Not many more-artistic... many-more artistic.

The English language is rife with such fuckeries.

Not sure the fix. M'workin on it.

One of the most frustrating things is a broken HB link. I have had many what I thought were golden beautiful original proposals, but a search of the archives here reveals a lack of of originality and eloquence because it's been already had* and usually better.

*Bummer I have minimal mastery of English, 2 fries.

But the trail often stops at the left hand column at a missing link. Same in the Wikipedia, so it seems to happen to the best.

       Where to start, though?
