Now that a Gothic Rock band has won the Eurovision song contest, there will probably be a full blown revival of this particular style, along with the paraphernalia that accompanies it. This has prompted a well known hair salon chain to commission a new hair style, and my winning submission is The Hairhenge.

Visualising it is simple. You must first think of a basic Mohican fringe - now imagine that instead of spikes rising from the scalp there are square cubes of hair, separated by shaved gaps. These are the plinths. Now imagine the hair which was cut to create the gaps being fashioned into cubes and re-attached to form the lintels which span the uprights.

The whole arrangement is supplemented by a set of either worshipping Druid figures or replica musicians of a favourite rock band, which can be glued unto the scalp.

I've been considering getting a 1980's style flat-top, but this would be much better.
