Hair Desert

Shave head. Coat top of head with a thin layer of glue, leaving a few small patches uncoated. Dip head in sand. Glue a few small pebbles here and there on your scalp. As hair grows through the areas with no glue/sand, trim it into the shapes of your favorite desert vegetation. Enjoy your dry, sandy Hair Desert. Makes a great habitat for small lizards.

       For a bit of real vegetation, could you glue soil or peat to the appropriate bits, and grow cress?   

       When you're tired of that look you could trim it onto your salad.
