Many ideas posted have questions in them for the various experts that frequent the site. This could be a category or separate section where people could post questions related to the post. For example, I posted something about an ice telescope. If I wanted to know the rate of sublimation for ice in
space, someone would probably know the answer, or could point me in the right direction. Sometimes the questions are about topics that are out of the poster's field of expertise, and, were the poster to look for himelf, would probably be unrecognizable.
This could also be solved by making a 1/2B off topic forum separate from the site itself.
So now you know!
http://lofi.forum.p...ublimation_471.html I'm with the Bakesperson on this one. There is a Big, Googly T'Internet out there..... [gnomethang, Sep 16 2009]
Alternate solution
_5bmarked-for-engineering_5d I thought this might have taken off but only myself and [bleh] really ever used it. [theleopard, Sep 17 2009]

Or you could just use one of the gazillion existing question-answering sites. |

CC seems to have his heart in the right place and we do have a quirky half-baked slant on most things. I quite like this! |

space-zamboni makes the question moot anyways. |

If only Microsoft didn't have Bing, it'd be the perfect sound for an ideas based search engine. |
