Many ideas posted have questions in them for the various experts that frequent the site. This could be a category or separate section where people could post questions related to the post. For example, I posted something about an ice telescope. If I wanted to know the rate of sublimation for ice in space, someone would probably know the answer, or could point me in the right direction. Sometimes the questions are about topics that are out of the poster's field of expertise, and, were the poster to look for himelf, would probably be unrecognizable.

This could also be solved by making a 1/2B off topic forum separate from the site itself.

Or you could just use one of the gazillion existing question-answering sites.

but the gazillion existing question-answering sites don't have the quirky, brilliant, and colorful characters that exist here!

The ones I'd like to ask are here on the HB.

Which might be a no-go, but at least it's said. You guys rock.

CC seems to have his heart in the right place and we do have a quirky half-baked slant on most things. I quite like this!

If only Microsoft didn't have Bing, it'd be the perfect sound for an ideas based search engine.
