HB Card games have been mentioned, as have Top Trumps, but as far as I have searched no one has actually put the two together
We have some beautifully simple stats for each Card as I shall lay out below

Buns, Bones, Links, Age, and Anno's. Lets take this example below.

Dr. Bob was sitting pretty, he had a pile of cards, and was well ahead of the rest, UB was sitting with 3 cards left and was looking down and out. Whilst it was UB's Call; Dr. Bob was sitting expectantly on a Hullaballoon
: Buns -190, Bones - 11, Links - 6, Age - 52, Anno's - 145
Bliss on a "Will you be my Valentine" spam
: Buns -3, Bones - 28, Links - 0, Age - 54, Anno's - 25,
whilst po with Halfbakery Sock Puppets
:Buns -31, Bones - 1, Links - 3, Age - 1, Anno's - 53)
& T_E_A with Burninthe Flag
: Buns -6, Bones - 0, Links - 2, Age - 1, Anno's - 8)
looked nervous as they fiddled with their cards.

Quietly UB declared "Links", Bliss sighed, declaring her zero, and throwing her card into the middle, T_E_A looked hopeful with a 2, whilst po, beaten with her 1, tossed in her Puppets. Dr. Bob's Smile widened, gently flacking his Hullaballoon down and annunciating 6 simultaneously.

"Too bad" said UB, placing his Vagina Jam face up on the table,
(Buns -43, Bones - 118, Links - 7, Age - 64, Anno's - 176).
"I have 7, and you lose!"

Annotation:

The words all all in my native tongue, but they are put in an order that makes no sense to me.

[GC] Does this look any better, or is it the substance rather than the layout which was Gibberish? (with a capital G)
Quite right Jinbish but no one had really covered them, thats when I started counting annotations and thought, "bone or bun, it needs to be done", of course, I am still at work and may be a little mad........

I think I must be missing some cultural references. From the category I can tell this is a game. It seems to involve cards. Or possibly mathematics.

There is nothing here about the rules of the game, or how it is played and scored.

       aahh, perhaps my mistaken assumption.
Top Trumps is a game where you have a pack of cards and each card has seperate values on it, take the above version, each card has 5 stats
Everyone is dealt the cards out evenly, you make a face down stack, and, taking one card at a time, all players draw from their own stack, first player picks a stat to call. Everyone then reveals their cards and the highest of the declared stat wins (Hence how UB's 7 in Links wins all)
The winner then begins the next round, and picks a different stat (at least those were the house rules we played), you carry on playing until you are the last remaining player with cards. [Link]

This hullaballoon I'm sitting on...how long until it hatches?
DrBob, Aug 12 2006

hhmmm, I guess that depends on how long have you been playing "Mother Bob" to it..?
It could be due any day now!
