Guitar Tutor

I am musically challenged, I need to learn to play an instrument and my schedule makes it impossible to take lessons. What I need is a self-teaching guitar.

I want an electric guitar linked to a large-screen PDA or computer by blue-tooth. The electric guitar has built-in LEDs that tell me where I need to press to make the chords and which strings to pluck/strum. The instrument also outputs my actions to the PDA, which can help to correct my wrong notes and tells me when I do so.

The PDA provides simulated music from the other band members (especially a base beat) and sheet music with the chords marked on.

During an actual performance, the subtly hidden LEDs can be switched off, but the bluetooth still operates and the guitar retains its wireless functionality.

This idea can also be used with keyboards, wind, even drums and other strings. With an internet connection, this means the band can also remotely reherse together and exchange chat between songs. "Hey Bob, you're in the wrong key. I know you are. Your PDA says you are."

Lastly, you can record your music digitally, right off the instrument, you can correct errors, enhance sounds, add effects, and remaster everything on your own , or through real-time collaboration. You can even send the completed track/ album to a PC to burn a CD, or upload it directly to the 'Net as an MP3.

I am fairly sure this idea is fresh, at least in the manner in which I describe. I have done all the usual searching. Let me know if I have to pull it.
