Whilst trying to take out money form a cashpoint (for
our
transatlantic cousins it's an ATM) I was struck by just
how
low they seem to getting these days.
Personally having the screen and keypad at 3 foot off the
ground doesn't really make any sense, I'm not exactly a
giant, but it's just
far too low.
Until cashpoint makers can be arsed to make a
monitor/keypad that can be slid up or down, the best I
can think of is having the remote arm (pantographically
controlled) and the mirror(s).
One approaches the cashpoint, deploys the remote arm
and mirrors (to make an upsisde-down periscope) and do
the business.
One additional add-on (with something like the The
Enigma device) is a non-repeating code whereby people
can see you wiggling your fingers, but that gets
scrambled
by the device and so the robotic fingers hit different
keys .
Comes with a laminated A4 sign that says "My robotic
arm
affixed at groin level is trapped in the cashpoint
mechanism, please call the bank or the Fire Service"..it
could saves a lot of explanation

Interesting idea. It's a bit of a single-use device though - if only there were other uses for a groinally-affixed arm... |

Petting very small dogs is the first thing I thought of. Really. You believe me, don't you? |
|

Would it be possible that the screen is 3 feet off the ground
to be accessed from your vehicle? Just sayin' ...or for
midgets. |

P sure the low cashpoints are for lads (and ladylads) in wheelchairs. That said, [+] for a pantographic willyhand. |

Of course I believe you. The third function would be
useful holding the soap in the shower, or 4thly,
mechanising secret handshakes for conspirators with
poor memories. |

//Groinally-affixed remote controlled arm and
mirror(s)// Do some people lack these? |
|

Why not dozens of these, affixed to every body part? |
|
|
[pocmloc], too spidery appearing, that's why. Or freaking
scorpion. No, too many of those would be atrocious. Me
thinks. |

I see some kind of Olympic Sport coming out of this. Perhaps Ping Pong. To be played at Lillehammer of course. |

Because that would be silly. |
