A portable green which can be set up and taken down with the same ease as a tent. Can be put in your backyard, or carried in a bag like a tent in the trunk of ones car to be easily set up anywhere, anytime ex.. ( camping, the beach,etc.. just about anywhere you can imagine.) Synthetic surface can be unfolded and folded back up to store. Same with telescopic flag. Hole and/or cup can be easily installed or removed from designated position. Again portability, simplicity and effectiveness are the key eliments. ( A must have for all Golfers)

Portable Putting Green http://www.kcputtin..._putting_greens.htm
Other sites listed under this heading featured discussions which focused more on the portability of their product. But although the greens could be rolled into a shoulder duffel and carried by an attractive model, the greens were relatively small and unimaginatively designed. This link was chosen because it had the most interesting green layouts and variety of putts to make while retaining the portability feature. [jurist, Oct 04 2004]

Description (displayed with the short name and URL.)

This product is not like any of the ones mentioned below. It is completely portable and is meant totaly for outside use. To be used for putting or as a chipping green. The surface is pegged into the ground as a tent would be. Average size of surface is 12' X 12' and can be cut into desired shape or as is.

OK,[Wooit], you win. My links don't sound anything at all like the product you're describing. After all, these products didn't mention needing tent pegs... Even though they're portable, storable (wrap in a duffel bag or stash in a car trunk), can be used inside or outside, are close to 144 square feet in size, and can be purchased in a variety of shapes. Your version of the idea is beginning to sound more like a scrap piece of Astroturf carpeting.
