The U.S. is the world's largest debtor nation. Federal debt equals 53 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. The Federal Reserve, General Motors, Chrysler, bailed out banks, state lotteries and other such private and public groups could advertise on whitehouse.gov, and other government websites, as a means to raise money for the government.

The concept is applicable to any country with government websites.

On the surface this seems a good idea. Thing is, advertising is bad nkay?

So governments team up with google? Now I do not believe there is such a thing as a democratic government in this world, but to just hand it all over to google? No thank you. -

(I realise your idea did not state to hand all world power over to google, but I think that is what your idea, if implemented, would lead to.)

On the plus side, the baked potatoes are really good. Nothing tastes quite like a potato baked in the embers of a real fire.
